Dear Friends,

Welcome to the website home of my golf tournament. I am a bad golfer and I started this tournament (which has a winner-take-all prize this year of $300,000) so that I could be competitive in a golf tournament. That means this is a tournament for bad golfers. That's right, if you're a bad golfer, THIS TOURNAMENT IS FOR YOU! Now, what do I mean by "bad golfer?" That's a good question! It depends on how bad I am at any given time. Right now I'm a 26 handicap. That means you have to be a 26-handicap (or higher) to play. All those details are in this website that my assistant Angela set up. There's a page that explains all the rules and a page that explains how you enter. There's also a page with some tournament history.

I also wanted to tell you about an independent movie that has been made about my tournament. During the 2006 tournament, a film crew was there filming everything we did. They've just finished their movie about the tournament. The movie is called "Handicapped: A Documentary About Bad Golf. " I've seen a rough draft of the movie and it's great (even though I don't really like the title). The 2006 tournament (which was the first tournament we opened to the general public) had some interesting characters and a wild finish. THe guys who made the movie tell me they are putting into film festivals.
